1999 Ford Escort Car won't Move

My car stopped moving so I changed the transmission filter and transmission fluid. The car starts fine but, when I shift it into gear it would not move in any gear. What woould you suggest is the problem.

If the fluid level is good and it doesnt move. Sounds like the trans is needing a rebuild. Check to be sure the axles are ok first though and that the shifter is working at the trans
