I have a 98 escort zx2 and the engine will not start it cranks but no start. The motor turns freely. Timing belt is fine. Motor gets spark and fuel. I just installed fuel pump, fuell filter, coil pack, spark plugs, and a crank sensor since its been broke down. I have no clue what it could be

If you are getting spark and fuel, it should start. Have you actually checked fuel pump pressure? Also, is the spark a blue snaping spark? Finally, will it start with starting fluid?

Let me know.

Not yet. But the valve on the fuel rail shoots gas up on the hood. I took out the new spark plugs to see if they were fouled and I turned it over with the plugs out and gas came out of the cylinders. And the spark is blue and snapping. The only thing I can think of is that I lost compression or some sensor is tellin the computer to not let it start

You may be getting too much gas. Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Also, you should check the compression to make sure there isn't a timing problem. If you need directions, let me know.
