1998 Ford Escort Gentelmen I can't start me engine!

My son drove my car home and that was it. I went in the car push the clutch in turn the key and nothing! No click no turn no nothing besides a lit up dash board. My neighbor told me about a safety switch under the clutch and still nada! Can you help me out?

No crank at all/nothing/nada:

Could be the starter, starter relay, clutch switch/park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. Note: If it doesn't apply disregard.
