1998 Ford Escort cooling fan wont come on

I checked the fan and it good, has good 40 amp, still wont come on

Check and test the engne coolant temperature sensor/gauge sender switch

Ok changed the unit pulled the fan assy and checked it fan works if I hot wire it, but not with how it should be working.

Check the fan relay in the CCRM if okay test the engine coolant temperature sensor/gauge switch

If the coolant temperature sensor/switch is okay the problem could be the CCRM or the computer itself
