Electrical problem
1998 Ford Escort Two Wheel Drive Manual 127000 miles

It appears the negative battery cable has a fuse box attached to it. The end clamp is cracked and will not secure around the post. Can I just replace the cable or do I have to purchase a complete harness?

at autopart stores they sell new battery clamps that you can cut and splice onto the battery cable.
