1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I changed the head on this car and not it wont crank because of the alarm system. I pushed the reset buttons down by the fuse box and the red flashing ligh on the dash and still cant get it to carank. How do I fix this problem?

That button is for your hood switch, not for alarm reset, I believe.

You need to locate your Remote Anti-Theft Personality (RAP) Module. It is located at rear left of vehicle. Unplug the harness, if the anti-theft light is still on, the module is bad. It is good, you need to reset your remote.
