My escort has been running fine for a year, then I stopped at a store the other day and when I came back it didn't start. It would crank and crank but not start. I changed the fuel pump I can hear it run now when I put the key in 2nd position, but it still just cranks and wont turn over. I had a friend check and make sure it had spark and fuel injectors were getting gas. I also tried spraying starter fluid in the air filter and tried starting it that way, but still no luck! What could the problem be?
