I have a 1998 ford escort zx2 with a new four year old engine. Cold air intake and performance clutch. I am 16 and never worked on a car's engine before. I got this car from my cousin about six months ago anlong with an extra power steering pump. The pulley on the new one is bad but it doesn't leak. So here's my problem. I have the pulley off the new one and I can't even get the one in the car out.
i am replacing the whole pump except for the pulley, but I can't get to the fourth bolt on the bottom side of it. The fluid line that is connected on bottom is right in the way of the fourth bolt. I can get no leverage in any direction to get the line off to get to the bolt. I was wondering if there is anyway to get this off without taking off the radiator or any other part for that matter. After all, this is only my first time fixing a car.

Hello,

Have you tried jacking up the car and getting to it from under the vehicle?

Yes. There's no vantage point at all underneath.
I can't put my hand anywhere close to it from there.
Every tool I try seems to get stuck on every little thing.
