Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Escort 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 80000 miles

I need to replace the radiator because of a leak and I figured while im there i'd replace the water pump and thermostat. But the engine is sideways and there ient alot of room. Do you need to have the car in the air to get the water pump replaced, and is it a royal pain to do if you dont lift the car?

For you to do the water pump on it you have to remove the timing belt
and if you to do so
may I suggest replacing the timing belt too
good luck '
