two weeks ago changed my speed sensor because the odometer was not working. My mechanic purchased a new sensor but now it is not working and my check engine light is on. He is a mobile mechanic and doesn't have all the equipment to test where it is shorting. Spoke about a PCM and no signal. Can you help me since I don't have any money to just do a diagnostic test. Paid over $200 for the speed sensor. Thanks.

Since your check engine light is on, best thing to do is go to local auto part store and ask them to run diagnostic scan for your engine trouble codes. Most auto part stores do this for free. Post code(s) you get and I will follow up.
