My Ford escort LX is a 1997 with 89.000 miles. My horn continues to blow so I took the fuse for the horn out. I put the fuse back in and it continues to blow. So now I am driving around with no horn. What is the cause of this and what type of shop should I look for to have this problem fixed and about how much will this cost? I am 70 y/o living on a fixed income.

Thanks for the donation

Put the fuse back in and have someone find the horn and disconnect the wire on it-if its stops the horn button switch is shorted out in the steering wheel. The cost varies with location-bring it to an auto electrical shop. Do not attempt to fix this yourself -due to the air bag system could be activated.

I've given you something to work that can caused your problem -a shorted horn button switch on the steering wheel -I've been there before with this problem. If you are not satisfied request your refund
