I just got a ford escort a few months ago from my sister-in-law. Recently the automatic seatbelt on drivers side had broke so my dad decided to cut the cord in it and I have not replaced it since then. But not long after cutting the cord to my seatbelt, teh back breaklights are not working properly. They are not coming on. I have replaced the pressure switch underneath the break pedal and my father has checked the stop light fuse, the light bulbs itself, and all are in good working order. We do not understand why the breaklights are not working. Please help us!

Actually, yes. But my dad had the car looked at today and we figured out what was up. Thanks though. I'll remember that though. Thanks again
