1996 Ford Escort Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I was driving down the street regularly and went through a puddle that was not very big and turned the corner and it stalled what do I do it turns but just wont start I have waited a hour inbetween trying to start it and just wont go. Any advise?

You got the ingination system wet. To check, remove a spark plug, connect the plug wire to the spark plug you removed. Lay the spark plug against bear metal on the engine, with the wire connected, have someone crank the engine over and see if you have spark at the plug. If there is no spark you may have gotten water in the ingination system. It will have to dry out.
