Smoke from the rear when in bad traffic

My beloved escort I noticed last night started to smoke from the rear when in bad traffic. After I got out of the traffic it quit. Don't know if it had something to do with having to ride the clutch or what? I recently replaced the slave and master cylinder. As long as I am not sitting still for an extended period of time it doesn't do it. It runs like a champ other than that. Knock on wood.

Whitish bluish with more white would mean its burnin coolant, also it could mean you are burning oil. Check your plugs to see if they are wet and with what, oil or water after idling it for a few minutes. If its oil could be valve seals or worn rings, if its water could be head gasket or cracked head. Keep us updated.
