I bought car from auction it's starts (about 900 rpm's) but then it stalls. Cleaned throttle body, charged hev battery, fuel pressure good. Also when I push gas pedal nothing happens.

We need to find out what codes we have. This hybrid has a system that if it sees an issue with the high voltage system that it will shut it down. It sounds like this is what is happening.

If I am correct then we should have codes that will give us direction. Thanks

Okay, that problem was fixed, but some times it will shut down and “stop safely now” there is only one dtc P1A10 - Hybrid Power-train Control Module Engine Disabled.

Okay. This DTC is informational only so you should have some others set most likely in the Battery Electric Control Module. Do you know if your scan tool can communicate with this module? Some generic tools don't recognize this module so it doesn't pull any codes even though they are there. Basically this is telling you that the high voltage system shut the engine down which is something you already knew except for the fact that it was the high voltage system that did it.
