BLEEDING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
CAUTION:To prevent damage DO NOT spill brake fluid onto plastic or painted surfaces.

NOTE:The fluid in the brake master cylinder reservoir must be maintained at the 3/4 level or higher during air bleeding. Be sure to use High Performance DOT 3 Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid (C6AZ-19542-AB). The clutch hydraulic system must be bled whenever a clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder tube or hydraulic clutch hose is disconnected.

Have an assistant fully depress the clutch pedal to the floor and hold it.
With the clutch pedal held to the floor, loosen the bleeder screw until fluid and air are expelled from the system. See Fig. 1 .
With the clutch pedal held to the floor, tighten the bleeder screw.
Repeat steps 1 -3 until no air bubbles appear in the fluid.
