My engine coolant light came on so I put antifreeze in my car and now the light is on all the time. Could there be something else wrong with the car?

If the low coolant light is illuminated and the coolant resevior is topped up, then I would look into the coolant sensor.

First try giving it a few taps on the bottle and on the sensor to see if it can turn off the light. If that doesn't work it's a pretty straight forward switch test. Ensure the circuit has no opens and if not, replace the sensor.
