2000 Ford E-Series Van Door Locks Cycle

My doors locks cycle lock/unlock. They seem to by trying to cycle sometimes and other times they lock and unlock. This occurs whether the vehicle is on or off, even with the key removed.

Had the same exact problem. Found the rear door lock switch was getting wet (still have not found the source) and was shorting out causing the locks to cycle (lock and unlock) on their own and sometimes not work at all.

Replaced switch and all is well.
