Brakes problem
1999 Ford E-Series Van 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I replaced the master cylinder, but still has the same
symptom: Has good pedal with engine off, turn it on,
and press, and suddenly drops an 2 inches and goes
spongy. Still stopping, but - not good.

Bear with me on this, I believe you have drum brakes in the rear, along with rotors in the front right? Also, on the master cylinder, does your fluid reservoir have a flat, rectangle cap which when removed has 2 spots in the reservoir, or does it have a round cap? Being a 6cyl, im assuming this is an e-150. I know these vans fairly well, so let me know what setup you have, and we will have you fixed in no time.
