Transmission problem
1998 Ford E-Series Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my 1998 ford e150 tranny has A sluggish shifting problem into the third shift and overdrive, only when the tempeture outside gets wam, about 70 and above. Heres what I did last year.
i changed the fluid and filter and there was no metal stuck to the pan magnet it was clean. Then I changed the tranny cooler, I thought it might have been clogged, I got a aftermarket one from a local auto store. Keep in mind that in the winter this tranny shifts fine. Also this van has 160000 miles and is the second tranny and motor runs great. This tranny uses synthetic fluid. What could this problem be

Trans was scanned last year when problem first started-no codes. Instead of saying sluggish I would say not as crisp or as clean shift as when its cold out, it kinda like it rolls slowly into the next gear. It is not a late shift either. Does not go into neutral while shifting. Downshifts fine. Also did not do it when it was new. Is there any componet that would do this because the outside temp is warmer thus causing fluid to change its properties and cause shifting problem

Possible pressure loss in 3-4 shift valve or shift solenoid 2. Not sure what ambient temp has to do.
What happens if you manually shift is it crisp then?
