1995 Ford E-Series Van heater valve

First of all if you can wait till after Christmas I will make a donation.

My question is :
Where can I find the location of the valve that opens the heater ? The controller on the dash isn't opening the heat and all the fuses are good.
Can I manually over ride the switch for now ?

Is it an electric temp controller? find the blend door and move it to hot and secure it there.If it is an electric control head you might have to remove the blend door actuator to be able to move the door to the hot position, otherwise it will be cable operated and much easier to move the door by hand
