Air Conditioning problem
2003 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 98K miles

it was suggested a resistor pack would fix this, but was told as I have "auto" temp control, it's a different module altogether. Which is it?

Before venturing to either of those you may want to test the blower motor relay which is located in the battery junction box. If the relay is OK then it could be a faulty blower motor speed controller which is what acts as a resistor on the auto a/c system.

Thanks, wasn't sure how to check the relay (14B192), so installed a new one (after disconnecting the batt) -- no change
