what would happen if the roker arm falls off and over head cam and how do u knw when u have a burnt vaule

Both would cause a missfire. As far as the burnt valve, if it is an intake valve, you may hear a popping through the intake. Exhaust would be through the exhaust. NOTE: Low engine compression in that cylender would also identify a burnt valve. A rocker arm wouldn't affect the compression.
