Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 90000k miles

My 94 Crown vic. Oil pressure gauge has never moved from 3/4 now it sits at 1/4 no real movement no fluttering. Time to time it sits back at 3/4 from start up. No distinct engine noise oil is good and temp stays in normal range. Thought it would be the oil pump but have driven over 1000k no engine noise. Is it a faulty gauge or are there other issues I should be lookin at?

AS LONG as its in the NORMAL range dont worry about it. As long as it isnt bouncing around. Mmaybe need a oil change?

Could be the oil pump pressure regulator going. Dont worry about it till its too high or too low in presssure.
