1992 Ford Crown Victoria my switch

hey guys i was wondering if you could help me igure out how to replace the switch in my car the tail lights dont work and i am guessing its cuz of the switch because ive replaced all the bulbs hope you can help thank you very much

I would check fuses before
turn lights on and use a test light check fuses


Disconnect the negative battery cable
Remove the front dash board trim.
Remove the headlight knob.
Remove the screws above the panel cover
Remove the screws that hold the dash on to the left and right of the steering.
pop the dash board panel from the dash.
Remove the nuts and washers that hold the switch.
Remove holding screws to headlight switch bracket.
Pull out the headlight switch and remove the wires
