1987 Ford Crown Victoria no sparking

In my car i was driving down town in reno. i went to a stop light and the car was running great. i taped the gas peddle and the car shut off. the car jumped and now i have no spark going to the coil and the spark plugs wire. i changed the disturber, i also changed the coil and still nothing. is there any thing i can try to do to fix my car. thanks

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs,coil resistances,distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.
