My car started shooting white smoke out of the exhaust pipes one night after about a 15 minute drive. I had a remainder of 5 minutes left of my trip. When I got home the car was still shooting the smoke and smelled like gunpowder. Since then, we have started the car 3 times, the last time, it didn't shoot out the smoke. We took it to a nearby mechanic who said he "tested" the head gasket and its not messed up. What else could the problem be?
