I had gotten a code stating that the #4 chamber has a misfire. I pulled the spark plug wire off and come to find out the little metal piece in there was broken off. So, I purchased a new set of wires, along with the motorcraft spark plugs, gapped at 50, and placed them in the car. Started the car up and the car idles like it's choacking out and now I have to like drive it and put my foot on the brakes and place it in neutral so it won't die out. Was there something I could have did wrong? Also, on the coil pack, mine looks like your picture only thing is that by the #1 and the #3 sign, there is an arrow pointing down. What does that mean? I have them matched up like the picture but maybe the firing order is messed up. Ran fine before I changed everything. I used some wire set from Autozone. Help.

I do not understand the arrows pointing down .. if you have the leads on the same as the diagram they are in the correct order ... check they are plugged in correctly and also pushed down onto plugs correctly ...
