When driving at highway speeds (50+ mph) the transmission downshifts then shifts back into OD very hard. It will constantly and frequently surge like this until you slow down below 50mph. It surges like this only at the above mentioned speeds. It never surges when driving below 50mph. The transmission was replaced by AAMCO a year ago and has done this ever since. It was a rebuilt transmission. They have maintained that there was nothing wrong with the transmission and it is out of warranty now. This is the SVT model with the 2.5L Duratec engine.
