The Transmission Selector is stuck in Park. When attempts at manipulation is made, a clicking noise in the vicinity of the steering column is heard. The noise is remenecent of the clicking noise of a partially powered solenoid.

Hello and thanks for donating

if the gear selector will not move from park, it is often the result of a failed brake light switch or park/neutral position switch. Check to see if your brake lights are operating when brake pedal is down.
