i just replaced the altenator and the battery on my car! It stays running for a while, then it starts to sputter and dies. Then it wont even turn over when it dies. Have to jump it. Can you tell me whats going on?

PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Inspect accessory drive belt and tensioner.
Inspect battery junction box fuse No. 5 (15-amp).
Inspect central junction box fuse No. 30 (7.5-amp).
Inspect 175-amp fuse on starter motor.
Check all connections for looseness or corrosion.
