I have a 83 bronco that I just got. When it runs I have a whitish smoke streaming out also I checked the tail pipe and it has black oil which seems fresh. Ther is no coolant in the oil or vise versa. I also see a slight dripping of oil where the exhaust bolts to the manifold. What does it sound like need to be repaired?

Whie smoke means a coolant leak in the firing chamber. The oil is probably secondary to the coolant leak in the cyls. Pull all the plugs and turn the engine over( Coil wire out) and see if there is any water coming out of the plug holes. Get back with me.
