Hi, lately when I rev from standing position my bronco makes a sort of winding/sucking noise at around 1,000 to 1,500 rpm. I think it's comming from the transmission but im not sure. Happens in Drive and in park when I rev the engine but always the same spot. Could it be tranny fluid, torque conv, or oil pump? Tranny fluid and filter were changed 5,000 miles ago. She has 105k on the odometer. Tranny is also a E4OD. Please help =/

Since no one is there who can actually listen to your vehicle, it's hard to diagnose. The only suggestion I can offer is to take it to someone who knows that type of vehicle and who can crawl around it while it's making the noise.

On another note. From what you describe, there is one common ford part that will make a high whining sound at rpm. That's a malfunctioning IAC valve. That's all I can think of. I hope that helps.
