1996 Ford Bronco Poor Mileage, low power

It runs like a top, smooth as can be. But it has always had low power and poor gas mileage of approx 10-11mpg no matter if I push it hard or drive it like there's an egg under the pedals. The power & acceleration is quite low too, maybe 65% of my 94 Bronco. My mechanic has been all over the vehicle and we have replaced a couple of items including: swapped EEC (temporarily to make sure no strange programming from earlier owner), Fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, all 3 oxy sensors, new plugs and wires, K&M Air Filter. What else should I be looking at?

Check for vaccum leaks, check your idle, and check your fuel injectors.

What litre engine is this?

Hows the transmission? Is it a 3 speed 4 speed 4 speed over drive 5 speed, 5 speed overdrive?

Do the wheels all turn freely?

Engine is 5.8L/351 Tranny is 4speed automatic w/overdrive. Runs very smooth.
1) Don't know if all wheels turn freely but can check
2) How do you check injectors? Does not appear to be running rich, no soot inside of tailpipe

You may be getting about 2 miles less, mine like yours only gets 13 if I drive it sensibly.

Put it on a injector cleaner and have it cleaned, also the timing may be off a hair.
