I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM ON/OFF FOR 3 YEARS. MORE FREQUENTLY LATELY, NEARLY DAILY VS 1 OR 2 MONTH. WHEN YOU GO TO START IT, IF IT DOES NOT IMMEDIATELY START, IT WONT FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES IF YOU DO NOT TURN IT OVER AGAIN, IF YOU KEEP TRYING TO START IT WILL NOT START, YOU HAVE TO LET IT REST.I HAVE REPLACED PLUGS, FUEL TANK. FUEL PUMP, OXYGEN SENSOR(IT STILL SHOWS THATS THE PROBLEM PER AUTOZONE TEST) I AM NOT MECHANICALLY INCLINED, AND I HATE TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE FORD HOUSE FOR THE 3RD TIME AND NOT HAVE IT FIXED. THE AIR/HEAT WILL ALSO CHANGE FROM THE VENTS IN FRONT OF ME TO THE DEFROST AREA WHEN I AM ON AN INCLINE, & OCCAS STALLS WHILE DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY, ALL SEEM CONNECTED. PLEASE HELP ME! Dianna

Youi have already spent close to a $1000 trying to fix something that is beyond your abilities. Your deforst issue may be a bad vacuum hose that has a hole in or lekaing anywher from under the dash to the engine compartment. Take it to a mechanic who can pull coodes and do different things with the diagnosis that auto parts people have no idea of. Even if you dump $500 into it, it will run and be fixed. Take it to a pro.
