I live in Ca. Where you need a smog inspection. The truck passes all emissions but due to battery changing the computer needs to be reset to give an accurate reading to pass. How do I reset

Is there a problem with the alt causing the light to be on? You may want to have a nationally recognized parts store reset the light for you. There shouldn't ba a charge, and you may need special tools to do so.
