1993 Ford Bronco hardly any power up hills

Bronco drives great with nice power on flat roads, but up hills just has nothing! I have to shift auto trans to second just to get up the hill, and still struggles? Ford jerked me around and charged me $ 150 to tell me that nothing is wrong! But it used to get up the hills no problem after I shut overdrive off, please help, thanks

OK first is the engine light on? Next is it only up hills? Is the exhaust (CAT) turning red at all? Some info needed to help better. When was the last tune up? How old is the fuel filter? Do you have a digital multi meter? Get back to me and we will go from there.
