Found a 1993 Bronco for sale, good price, but it has its issues. When you start the engine for about the first 2-3 minutes the engine iddles smooth with no problem, but then the engine starts to stutter, shake, and finaly dies. If you wait a minute and restart the engine again, it does the same thing, starts out running fine, the stutters and dies. The guy thats selling it says that it has ran fine with no problems before and the only thing he can tell me is that he left the ignition on and ran the battery dead, he then put a charger on to charge it back up and since then its had this problem. Any ideas?

Battery being low could cause the computer to lose its memory and must go thru a computer relearning process.

You can try cleaning out the idle air control valve/motor and EGR valve
