1992 Ford Bronco idle increasing

When ever I put my Bronco from park to rev or drive upon starting the idle accelerates upwards to 1500 rpm during the moving of the gear shift. And yes I've checked to see if my foot is the problem. LOL any help thanks guys.

It is supposed to rev up a little bit to prevent it from boggign and dieing.

What you can try to do first is remove the negative battery cable for about 10 minutes, then reattatch and see if the problem goes away.
