1990 Ford Bronco 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have changed many things on my Bronco II, it currently will start after sitting overnight but no matter how long I let it run it will not start again after it's been shut off. It is getting fuel, and spark, checked timing last time it was runnnig and it's right on. I have recently replaced the Fuel pump, filter, high pressure fuel line, ignition module, coil, cap rotor, plug and coil wires and plugs. I can hear the fuel pump turn on every time I turn the ignition on and there is fuel with decent pressure in the fuel rail every time I check it. I am really at a loss and don't have any idea what the problem could be. Any suggestions?

To start this-check the fuel pressure and comeback with it, with and w/o the pressure regulator we start here.

I kinda had the same problem with my 84 full size bronco and on mine there was a short between the solenoid red wire and where it ended. I clipped it and put it with the correct wire and now it is working just perfect

I had similar problems with my 91' full size. You may have to replace either battery cables. My negative battery cable was attached to the engine. The problem was that the cable was old and the ensulation was not effective. When that cable got hot from the engine electrical resistance was created. That cable had to cool down until I could start the motor. Also, if any of the cable or wiring is too skinny heat will be created in the wire and electrical resistance will occur. All it will take is for you to start it once, then you'll have to wait for that wire to cool down before you can start is again. Check to make sure all of your wiring and battery cables are thick enough. The funny thing is, not one mechanic could help with this problem. I had to figure it for myself.
