I will start by saying my gas gauge went out so I have been going by the milage. Now when I try to put gas into the tank it will not take alot of gas it is like the float is stuck or something. What could it be and how can I fix the problem?

Its possible that it is taking the right amount of gas is just since u dont know how much gas the tank has at the moment of fill it might already have half the tank full. Change the floater on your bronco, its just 2 straps that hold it up and u need a tool to remove gas lines from exterior side of pump.U can get it at pepboys. Recommend you do this when your tank is almost empty and disconect the batt. If its like my f150 92 it will use a cylinder tipe floater and its gonna have a puncture and filled with gas so floater stays down thats what was wrong with my truck not long ago. Good luck
