1990 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic? Miles

I have a 1990 bronco it is my second one my first was a 1987, both fullsize. Well I never had any problems with my 1987 bronc but have had nothing but problems with the 1990. I know the usual problems like the rear window motor, the front window motors, the starter, and the water pump. This 1990 has had problems since I bought it, first where do I start? The 90 has had problems starting up and running with out constant pressure on the gas pedal for around 10 min, I replaced the starter and installed new plugs, and wires. I have replaced the fuel pump along with the filter, have changed the air filter and cleaned the injectors. It has been down for awhile b/c of doing suspension work and installing a transmission. When I went to start it up I had to try and try and try, I finally remembered to change out the old fuel, that didn't work. Finally by the grace of God it fired up and ran untill we tryed to give it some gas. As soon as we did it shut off. We got it fired back up again but it had trouble keeping an idle. The only thing I can think of is the timing or the idle sensor if there is such a thing. Please I'm out of ideas!

There is a valve called an idle air control valve. Replace it. 2 bolts hold it in and its right on the throttle body. Hope this helps
