1988 Ford Bronco Speedometer cable location

My Speedometer doesent work, and my mileage trip doesent work. I would like to know the location of the speedometer cable, and what could be the cause of the mileage trip to not be working? Thanks fellas

You probably dont have a cable in 1988, it's most likely an electrical sensor.

Ok, now I'm all messed up.

It seems that some were cable driven (especially if it had cruise control), and some had an electrical sensor.

But to answer the question, most of the time, the speed sensor is in the tail section of the transmission
