I have changed the oil and oil filter, when I start it up I get an oil light and after it warms up it starts to knock. I have been tild it is the oil pump and that I have to jack the engine up to get the oil pan off. I was wonderin the best way to go about it.

How handy are you? This is an involved job, and if the motoer is knocking already, your too late to save the affected part! At this point either a main or rod bearing is gone...you want to do this too? Remove bolt in motor mounts jack engind remove the pan, remove the pick up tube and screen, remove the pump. Prime new pump with oil, pack end with grease, install pum, pick up new pan gasket and pan! Tip, Get the pan ready before you do the pump!
