How do I replace a freeze plug on my auto

Its very hard to get at with it in the engine. But heres how if you can get at it.

Take a punch and hammer and hit the plug on a corner that way it turns sideways in the bore, from there you can grab a pair of pliers and pull it out.

You could also choose to drill a hole in it and use a sheet metal screw tip and a slide hammer and pop it out if you have the room.

To put it in make sure you get the proper size, then either use the proper tool for putting them in or find a socket that is smaller then the freeze plug as the plug has to bend when it goes in. Hit it in square.
