i have an 87 ford bronco xlt when I turn on the defrost smoke comes out of the vents and it smells like antifreeze I have been told it is a leak in my heating coil if this is true how do I fix iy if not what is it

You have been told right my friend. That means you have a bad heater core or a hose on it is leaking. Drop glovebox. Should be a panel on the ducts right behind it. Pop off panel and out comes the core after the hoses are removed.
