Bronco II was parked in garage waiting for brake lines to be repaired. It has sat waiting for, yes, 5 years! It was mechanically fine before this. Interior is mint condition, but body is very rusted due to oxidation problem with original paint job.

Would a vehicle this old be worth fixing? Would the mechanical parts be rusted and seized up to the point that it would be unsafe to drive? I have no mechanical expertise whatsoever and wonder if it would cost more to repair than the vehicle is worth.

Any comments would be welcomed.

Wish I could help you out with a good answer but you will need to take it to a local repair shop for a vehicle inspection. I wont be able to tell you what is good and bad on it without seeing it in person.
