1986 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

hey guys I need help. I have an 86' with a 302 and I think a C6. K this is what happen I put a neww transfercase on. Drove it for a month or two then one day it slipped out of gear on the freeway. It mad a grind/clicking noise. So I pulled over and put in park and thought what the hell was that. About 15 min later I put it in drive and it worked about 2 hours later it did it again on my way home. So I did the same thing. The next day I was going to work and just as I got on the freeway it slipped out again and blew a lot of fluid out on to my manafolds. It blew out right ware the trans meets the block. Now a month later I can drive it about 15 miles in any gear be for it slips. Sorry for the ramble but this is my baby and every one I know give me diffrent awnsers. From getting a new trans (which I cant afford) to the torque converter (which I might be able to afford) so some one please help me figure this out

I understand that the trans fluid blew out where the engine meets it. Did it come out of the inspection plat cover or somewhere else? Also, I have seen bad torque converters, but I never saw one leak like you described. THe front seal (where the converter rides) I've seen leak.
