1986 Ford Bronco engine hesitation

My vehicle is giving me hesitation issues I already looked at the exhaust sytem and it is all clean and I replaced my fuel filter and in august I had replaced my spark plugs and distributer cap but it still gives me hesitation whenever it is under a load like driving uphill or during acceleration it starts jumping and even the idle is inconsistent. And every once in awhile when I take it off roading it will actually die on me and I have to wait for about ten minutes for it to start again if you have any advice please let me know?
