Hi. Recently I bought a new starter switch to replace what I thought was an old and beat up one. I asked for the replacement part at the auto parts store, and gave them all my vehicle information. I followed the directions included with my new part when installing it. Now I have nothing. When I open the door the dome light does not even turn on anymore, however, when jumping direct battery current to the post in which the starter wire is located, everything comes alive and the engine trys to turn over. This is probably a simple fix and just something I'm overlooking, but I'm to the point where I need to ask for help. I have two other wires, besides the main battery wire, the starter wire, and the ignition switch connected to the solenoid that were connected to the old solenoid. They are both labeled fusible links. The starter switch I bought has the "S" and "I" posts, as well as the two main posts. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi there schneider79 and TY for the donation this is what keeps the site going

The wires that has the lump on it goes to the battery terminal of the starter relay that's coming from the battery the other battery cable goes straight to the starter battery terminal-the red and light blue goes to the S terminal and if you have another wire it goes to the I which is the ignition bypass wire to apply full battery voltage to the coil while the engine is being cranked over.

Here is a picture that hopefully will upload this time to show you what I have going on. I just need a bit more clarification. The diagram you sent helps a little but is hard to read. Thanks.
